Hello everybody! I'm Miss Cane and I will be the new teacher in Magpie Class with a mix of year 3 and 4 children. I completed a degree in Psychology at Portsmouth University, before moving to Cambridge to undertake my teacher training at Homerton College. My part time work at a children's nursery inspired me to become a teacher and I realised that I wanted to work with Primary aged children while teaching at Over Primary School as a volunteer. In my spare time I really enjoy trampolining, drawing and languages, and I have almost completed my Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award. I am particularly looking forward to teaching Literacy, PSHCE and Art from September and I hope to start an extra-curricular club to introduce children to British Sign Language and Deaf Culture. See you all soon. |
